6U/8U Ice Breaker

Get ready for a weekend of big fun for our littlest hockey players at The Ice Breaker! Havre Youth Hockey Association is excited to welcome 6U and 8U teams to the Havre Ice Dome for a tournament weekend focused on hockey, fun, friendships, and making memories on the ice.

Games are played half-ice, creating an action-packed environment that keeps young players involved and gives them plenty of opportunities to skate, touch the puck, and be part of the game.

At this age, hockey is all about learning the game, building confidence, being part of a team, and having FUN! The Ice Breaker gives young players a chance to play against other teams, show off the skills they've been working on, and experience all the excitement of a hockey tournament.

Our HYHA families and volunteers love making The Ice Breaker a special weekend for our youngest players. Between games, families can enjoy great concessions, raffles, games, and fun activities around the rink.

And when you have some downtime, we hope you'll explore Havre! Our community has great local restaurants and places for teams and families to grab a meal, spend time together, and relax between games.

Most of all, we're excited to welcome young hockey players and their families to our rink and share the sport we all love.
