Welcome to Havre Hockey!
The Havre Youth Hockey Association is proud to host a series of annual youth hockey tournaments at the Havre Ice Dome. We look forward to welcoming teams and families to Havre each season, sharing our great community, and bringing players together to compete, have fun, and grow their love of the game.
Our annual tournament series includes:
- 6U/8U — The Ice Breaker
- 10U — Rivalry on the Line
- 12U — Battle for the Biscuit
- 14U — The Great Northern Border Battle
- High School (16U/18U) — The Borderline Battle
Tournament dates, divisions, formats, and rules may vary from year to year based on HYHA registration numbers, team availability, and scheduling needs. Please refer to each tournament's registration page for the most current information.
All HYHA tournaments are USA Hockey sanctioned through the Montana Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA).

Tournament Full? Join the Waitlist!
If registration for a tournament is full, we encourage your team to join the waitlist. To be added, please email the Tournament Coordinator listed for that specific tournament with your team name, association, age/division, and contact information.
Teams will be contacted by the Tournament Coordinator if a spot becomes available. Being placed on the waitlist does not guarantee tournament entry.
We encourage teams to register early—our tournament spots are limited, and we'd love to welcome you to Havre!
Tournament Payment & Refund Policy
Tournament registration fees are used to secure ice time, officials, scheduling, awards, and other tournament-related expenses. Because many of these costs are committed in advance, teams that are unable to attend must provide written notice of cancellation at least 45 days prior to the tournament start date to be considered for a refund.

A minimum $200 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your team's spot in the tournament. Teams may choose to pay the tournament registration fee in full at the time of registration or pay the $200 deposit with the remaining balance due 45 days prior to the tournament start date.
Alternate payment arrangements are available upon request. Teams wishing to pay outside of the online registration system must contact HYHA to make arrangements. Cash payments will be accepted in U.S. Dollars (USD) only. All payment requirements still apply regardless of payment method.
Refund Policy
The $200 registration deposit is non-refundable, regardless of when a team withdraws from the tournament.
Teams that have paid more than the $200 deposit and need to withdraw must provide written notice more than 45 days prior to the tournament start date to be considered for a refund of payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit.
No refunds will be issued for team withdrawals made 45 days or less prior to the tournament start date.
All eligible refund requests will be reviewed by the Havre Youth Hockey Association and considered on a case-by-case basis. HYHA reserves the right to make the final determination regarding all tournament refunds.
By registering for an HYHA tournament, teams acknowledge and agree to the tournament payment and refund policies outlined above.
